Greetings fans! Have you ever wondered what options a staff member is given when freezing an account? This article will hopefully explain to you some of the options that they do have…

If you haven’t realized already, staff have to abide by rules just like us members. However, many of you think they have total control over your freezing. …well you are correct if you believe so because they do. HOWEVER, they are given only limited reasons, which is why you may see many of your friends frozen for the same exact reason -word-for-word. In the event that there is no appropriate message for a freezing, then that particular staff member is granted permission to create a new message which would be re-used for future freezings.

Persevere in the Beauty Contest by Kathryn

When I first joined up with Neopets in 2003,i was just an average user. I collected the daily dos and played a few games and remained average, I didn’t even have many neofriends! However, if someone told me my pet would be winning a beauty contest whilst I played on Neopets, I wouldn’t have believed them for toffee! and guess what, I still don’t believe it now!

For some reason the beauty contest seemed attractive to me, perhaps the thought of a gleaming trophy on my pets page was just too exciting but whatever it was, I entered straight away without hesitation.

Almost everyone is always hoping for a get rich quick scheme. There is none and Neopets tells you so.

I have found that with patience and knowledge of using the Shop Wizard and watching the auctions, you can get a great idea of what things are selling. Once armed with the knowledge of the market prices, you are ready to start buying items.

Codestones are great investments with a quick turn around. Remember even if you get it for 25 neopoints more than what you paid for it, you still have made a profit! Every neopoint counts. So watch out for good prices on codestones, dubloons and bottled faeries, they are a fairly cheap investments and codestones are common random gift events.
