The first batch of Moderator positions for 2009 are now officially open! Are you an active member of this community who wants to help shape it and grow into something bigger and better? Come here and read the application form. (Serious applications only.)

As Moderators are expected to log into the oekakis every weekday and into the private staff forum, the position of Moderator will require a significant time investment on your part so make sure you are in a position to commit approximately 1 hour per day.

The Oekaki Rules Have Been Updated

The oekaki rules have been updated into a few simple easy-to-remember rules. To make things even more simple and easy-to-remember, the updated rules apply to all three oekakis. Come on over and read them here.

Included in the rules are our strike policies; what will happen if a rule is broken and what repercussions the offender can expect. Thanks for making this a great community everyone and keep on truckin'.

diva_brat Steps Down as Administrator and Changes to the Oekaki

diva_brat has stepped down as Administrator. While her time here was short, a big thanks go to diva_brat for overseeing the oekaki during its time of transition.

I will be taking over the administration of the Pink Poogle Toy oekaki until further notice. Rules will all be revised based on feedback received from the membership to date. Comments and feedback can be sent to kym@kymhuynh.com for anyone who wants to have their input.

There were loud protests against the current rules at this oekaki which many perceived to be "too harsh". The rules will be revised over the next few days and a fresh set of rules will be uploaded to the oekaki.

The next 4 weeks will be a time of change and revision so I hope you're all ready for a shake up.

The Oekaki Gets a Makeover!

Wow. Awesome realism. Love the nose, eyes and glasses. <3

I'm no good at realism but a few little tips: The line where her top lip joins her face looks a little sharp, although I love the lip color. The ear is a bit blurry, it's not as realistic as the rest of the face and her eyelashes look a bit thick. But that's just me and I first looked at this and though 'awesome' the glasses are so cool.

ooh, that's awesome realism. not too blurry, like happens with a lot of realism pics. one crit would be to check the sharp lines around the glasses, because they distract from the smoothness of the piece. otherwise, great job.

Ok, I have been watching an anime called Yakitate! Japan.

And, yes, it is about bread, but it is still very good!!!

Pierrot comes in around the 18th episode(I think), but he's still one of my favorite charaters, and you'll see why!

He's a clown from a circus called Quedam, but then becomes a bread judge, but he still does all the awesome moves from the circus and wear's the awesome outfits as well.

Hey there. First off, sorry for the cruddy picture. To be honest, I haven't used my mouse to draw, or oekaki in over 4 years so I'm kind of rusty. I guess I could say that I'm "new" here, but rather I've taken a really long hiatus from Neopets in general. Having it be summer, I get more into the things I couldn't do during the school year.

I'm not sure if there are any oldies in the house who might remember me. I used to be pretty well-known around the old Neopets, I had my own oekaki (mysticneo) which eventually went down the tubes. My neopets name used to be scienceprincess_1, an account that is now 7 years old. I was more known as "Sci" and still am in other games. My main neopet was Fripelia (Fry-pell-ee-uh), which I nicknamed Fri. This is her above. She's a faerie aisha with darker colors.

Life update, things have been pretty peachy I guess. Except, yesterday we had to put my baby down. He just got really sick really fast and his whole system began to shut down. My mom and I held him when we euthanized him so he wouldn't pass alone, I'm sure he already felt abandoned being in the animal hospital. He's safe now at least and not suffering<3

Ahh haven't drawn here in ages.
Lots has happened...
-Mum moved house
-Dad moved house
-Dad's girlfriend moved in
-I went to ripon and had the best weekend of my life
-i dyed my hair dark brown

And I have relentless NASS fesitval on the 11th, I'm going to Germany for 5 days on the 13th and then we have one more week of school before summer.
I'm dying my hair like this either this weekend or next weekend.
I've kinda made myself ill from a lack of sleep, I was up 40 hours over the weekend and then i usually only get about 6/7 on school nights so I'm off today.

and you can easily fix the bumping thing, when you retouch a picture and come to the sumbitting page, there's a little box that says 'bump your pic?' and you can choose yes or no.
