As in the original Usuki Frenzy, the goal is to collect the designated Usuki sets that are scattered all over the house. Move around the rooms using the arrow keys, and hen you see a set that you need, walk over/near it in order to collect it. Collecting the Usuki dolls that are also scattered around the house (in levels 2 and 3) will give you extra points but are not necessary to finish the game. When you successfully collect a set that you need or an Usuki doll, there’s a bell sound or a short melody, respectively.
Be careful not to collect a set that is not in the list or you’ll end up losing time. Sometimes, however, you happen to collect an unwanted set, either by mistake, or because you wanted to get near an Usuki doll and you couldn’t avoid the set. When this happens, you hear a horn. When you are carrying a set you cannot pick up another, so you need to get rid of the unwanted set in order to continue. To do that, walk over to one of the open-shelved cupboards (only the open-shelved cupboards will do). When the unwanted set is dropped, you’ll hear a thump and a message will appear on the top part of the window saying that you can continue collecting sets.
Tips
- The quicker you collect the sets, the more time bonus points you get, so hurry!
- When you go through a doorway, try to walk either to the right or the left side of the doorway (rather than walk straight through the middle). This way you’ll be more likely to avoid collecting unwanted sets accidentally.
- This is an easy game. You can easily make over 500 NP’s per game, so this is an easy 3×500=1500 NP’s game to add to your dailies.
- One of the Usuki sets, the pirate set, can be seen in the garden scene but cannot be collected from there. You must go to the pink bedroom (the one that is two rooms to the right of the bedroom you start from) and then walk down the screen. You’ll end up in the garden scene again, but on the part of the fence where you can reach the pirate Usuki set.
- Unlike Usuki dolls, Usuki sets appear on the same spot every time, so if you can remember where each set is located, you can take a moment to look at the list of wanted sets at the start screen of each level and make a mental plan of where you need to go, before you actually start the level and the clock starts ticking. That’ll make you quicker and you’ll earn more time bonus points. To help you further, sets more or less are located in the room they would most likely fit in (for example, the cook set is in the kitchen, faerie sets are in the garden etc.). That’ll also save you some time when you run around looking for sets. The more you play, the quicker you’ll be!
- For even more points, go to the pink bedroom and move close to the computer on the top right corner. While you hold down the arrow key you used to get near the computer (e.g. the up key, if you walked up towards the computer) press the space key. You’ll hear a sound and an additional Usuki doll will appear in the middle of the room. Collect it to earn even more points! (You can interact with many items in the house this way, but the computer is the only item that can raise your score).
Enjoy! – Anonymous
