I started playing Neopets about three months ago because a friend was playing it. I was sceptical at first, but when I started playing it, I got immediately hooked. The pets, the battle dome, the shops, the items, all of it, was a cool experience and I would recommend this to anyone who wants something to do that’s fun. One thing that should be changed is the ridiculously high prices for some of these items.

I am a new battle dome player and am enjoying it really well, yet some of the better items that are available are priced WAY to high, and that discourages some players who are new to the game. I like the idea that there are other neoplayers to challenge in a battle, and you can challenge other people that are already there like the Snowager (I haven’t gotten that far yet), and other characters. If there was a way that players like me can obtain some items, without giving an arm and a leg, then it would be helpful for all. Other than that, being a battle dome player is a fun thing to do.

Neopets: The Darkest Faerie PS2

This Sony Playstation 2 reincarnation is the result of a co-operative between Sony Computer Entertainment America, Santa Monica, and Neopets Inc.

Announced by Sony to be intended for all ages and set to ship in August 2005, Neopets: The Darkest Faerie (which was previously announced as “Lords of Altadore”) will be released on the Sony Playstation 2 platform after the initial plan to release it on the Sony Playstation 1 platform was withdrawn.

A 3D, action-adventure RPG game, Neopets: The Darkest Faerie follows the storyline of two core characters Tormund, a knighted Lupe and Roberta, a sorceress with awesome powers.

The Art of the Deal – Selling Your Stuff in Neopia by DragonDoodies

Neopia has three ways in which you can sell your items. You can sell items for 1-99,999 NP in your shop. You can trade items in the Trading Post for any price. You can put your items up for auction. Which is best? Well it all depends on what the item is, and what you know about it.

For any beginning player, I absolutely recommend against using the auctions. Usually, you get ripped off. The auction is so packed with junk right now, that your item will unlikely get the coverage it needs to get the price it deserves. (At any given time, there are upwards of 200 items pet minute being posted to the auctions.)
