Outside of the US Grumbles by Maelianitha

Well how about this. I think Neopets is unfair to a lot of people outside of the US! Like me. I’m from New Zealand.

First thing. A lot of those sponsor deals and those “Get 1,000 NP a day!” things are worthless. All of them are “sign up with our sponsor” and such while practically every single one of them I’ve seen have ONLY been for US residents. Granted, it’s not a big amount of NP but it still seems very excluding.

Timing for things doesn’t always seem too bad since things are spread out throughout the day/night. but one of the other things that annoys me is the merchandise. I’ve seen some really cute things in the merchandise, that I’d love to get my hands on.. Things in the wish list – but none of those items are available here. In fact there seems to be rather little of Neopets available here. I don’t know if that will eventually change but I saw some items that are listed ‘limited edition’ or whatever – does that mean they’ll not be available here because their stock all went to the US? I don’t know.

10 Things to Avoid on Neopets by Lachlan Day

Hello all! I have made a guide of 10 things to avoid on Neopets. These 10 are in no particular order of importance, but if you don’t want to be hacked/scammed/frozen, I suggest you avoid the following 10:

1) If you are on the message boards and you see a board called something like “My pass is google5” for instance
Ok, if you ignore it, you have lost nothing and you made the right decision. If you do decide to login to their account, yours may get frozen because the person will report you for hacking. Don’t, under any circumstances, login to any other Neopians account unless you have permission. It is a definite nono. If in doubt, always say no!

Earning Neopoints by Blackittyrose04

“Don’t waste your time searching or trying to feed your pets with your hard earned points…”

This is a guide to those daily, or occasional players of Neopets. As a veteran player I like to learn new tips each day to help enhance the experience.

I actually have a few tips to share with you.

Major Point #1: Don’t waste time feeding your pets food that you hunt down and buy everyday, use the free food that is available.

If you have the requirements for the SOUP KITCHEN, go there for free soup.
You can eat until you are full. NP balance has been raised, so those of you who are like me and only keep a couple thousand are still eligible for FREE SOUP!! http://www.neopets.com/soupkitchen.phtml

What’s the Deal With Clothes by Suzii

So far, the only use I found for them was as a quest item for the fire faerie. But honestly what do we do with them instead of quests?

Things you can’t do:

-Sell them for a lot of np
-WEAR them
-Play with them
-Eat them

Things you can do:
-Use them for quests
-Make a gallery
-Maybe, one day the neopets will get to wear them or they’ll magically become real and come out of out computers and we can wear them!

And that’s pretty much for clothes.

So you decide:

Waste of np

or

Something useful

Moral: Suzii thinks clothes on neopets is pointless – Suzii

A Tour of Neopets by pixieheart22

Welcome Neopia fans! Whether you’ve been around here since before Kreludor or have just discovered this enchanting little world, you must have gotten lost at least once. Now, I’m not about to give you directions to every single little store in the world, but, just for today, I’ll give you a tour!

We start our tour viewing all of Neopia in all of its beauty. What normally strikes the eye first is Faerieland, so there is where we shall start. Faerieland consists of two main screens: the outer city, and Faerie city. Some key places to note are the Healing springs, helpful should your neopets ever become sick or injured, and the Wheel of Excitement. While you can only spin the wheel once every two hours, the rewards are well worth it. Moving on now! In Faerie city itself you will find games shops, the Faerie Quest hut and the Employment Agency. Quests are given randomly, not requested and if you do manage to get a job at the Agency, then bravo to you.
