Confession of Walter the Xweetok by Midnightslove3

I was sitting under the pouring day. You see my name is Walter and I come from the Xweetok clan. You see, I am about two months old. You must think I am completely crazy standing in the rain like a bum on the street. The truth is, I got kicked out of my neohome. My owner, dragonhybrid, left me here. I am telling you right now, he is inhuman. He has no feelings. He did not care if I was starving. All he wanted was to get me and his other neopets to become just like him. A cold blooded killer. He wanted to make us strong and fast so we could hurt everyone on our path, but I did not want that! He saw my weakness and abandoned me on the street of Neopia. Now, I felt alone and forgotten. No one in this world loved me. I read stories about the good in people. To me, it is all a myth. Having someone who will care for me and love me is for me something beyond my wildest dreams. Yet something told me I could and should try and find one. I got up and started walking. I then decided I would travel the whole Neopian world to find what I truly believe is true. I walked past the rainbow fountain and followed the road down to the market place. I then saw that the soup kitchen was open. Starving I ran inside and politely asked for a bowl of soup. She smiled and handed me two! She knew I was really hungry and I saw that she was a good hearted young faerie. When I was satiated, she told me to come back whenever I wanted and gave me a couple of soups to go. She wished me good luck and kissed me on the cheek. I smiled and turned around. And here begins my quest. I shall travel the world, go beyond the seas to find one great owner who will truly believe in me and care for me. I looked to the horizon and savored the true feeling of freedom. With a smile and my delicious soups that I put into a bag which was given by the lovely soup faerie, I took my first step towards my near by future. – Midnightslove3

10 Tips for Making Neopoints by Isabelle Dubois

As we all have heard, America’s middle class is disappearing!!! Who cares? We’ll fix it. The thing that has been on my mind lately: Neopets’s middle class is literally gone! Either items are unbuyable (only people who have the Number Six avatar are able to buy them), they are expensive, or they are just plain crap. Now, as someone who truly cares about the many Neopians around, I feel I should lend a hand to all of you who need help making neopoints. So, here is my list on how to become rich. I call it, “Ten Tips for Making Neopoints”.

Play the sponsor games!!! Now, this may seem silly, maybe ridiculous to some of you, but by playing the sponsor games I make over 10,000 neopoints a day. You don’t have to be good at them. Most are quiz or trivia games to which certain petpages or sites have listed the answers. It can’t get any easier, people! So, now when you see those ‘10,000 Neopoints a Day’ guides or boards, you can just laugh and say, “I already have it. It doesn’t take long at all.”

Get land!

Every owner wants a nice NeoHome. But… When they first build one, they build a room on a spot they regret! You must plan it out first on a blank paper! Draw squares and plan out where the living room will be, bedrooms, kitchen, etc. It may take a while if you aren’t sure where but hey! Better than messing up and wasting your np right??

Designing and Planning Your NeoHome

1. Sketch/draw the basic layout for your house, and figure out what materials and what furniture your going to need. I write furniture list like this:

FURNITURE ITEM Cost gotten
Zen Bed 1,000 NP DATE GOES HERE

Or something similar. Keep updating the list as SOON as you get stuff!

2. Land Why not pick an exotic location. The cheapest is Neopia at 1,000 but I’d prefer Mystery Island especially if you got a kougra 😉 but, you get to live on an Island! How bad can THAT be? If you want desert is DEFIANTLY out of the question, especially if u can only afford a FIREPLACE! Talk about HOT! Haunted Woods-Not bad, But DEFIANTLY not for a scared pet! Tyrannia-No bad but your house may smell like dung 😛 YUCK! Terror mountain-You GOT TO have a heating system in this other wise your going to FREEZE! Faerieland-Probably the MOST costly but not bad for faerie pets!
