Increase Your Guild’s Page Views by Samantha Thomson

If you are having trouble getting members, then a good way to get people interested is by increasing your guild’s page views.

I know from experience that before I had my own guild and I was looking for one to join, one thing that would stand out was how many page views a guild had.

The more page views your guild has, the more that visitors will think your guild is popular because so many people have looked at it.

A guild with page views into the thousands is good. Most people like a popular guild because they know it will always be active.

The First In-Depth Exploration of N00b and Anti-N00b Behaviour in the History of Neopia by Edith

For a newcomer to the message boards, the bombardment of seemingly nonsensical terminology can come as quite a shock. Yet it is not this particular feature of the good, old boards that leaves many a brave Neopian running in the opposite direction at the end of the day. What is this horror, this evil, this terror, you ask? Why – it is nothing more (but nothing less) than the menacing prospect of being labeled…*drum roll*… a n00b!

Thus, the purpose of this article is to do three things: first, to provide an insight into the world of n00bism; second, to identify the tenets pertaining to n00bism; and third, to proffer a solution so as to return the boards to all their previous glory.

Help Chat – The NeoBoards by satan_child_1992

On a site known as Neopets, there is a board called, the Help Chat, or HC, called by frequent users.

The OLD HC was a place where, as the name says, you come for help, & you help users in need. That means, how to Restock, or help me with my pet page. We had fun, often making friends, & just having a good time.

Over the past 2 years or so, the HC slowly started to Die, after neopets started to get publicity, then, the KIDS arrived. TNT released there first real-life Neopets merchandise, just in time for summer, when kids have more free time.

A Guide to the Neopets Chat Boards by x_prison_break_fan_x

Picture this,you are new to Neopets, you click on the Neoboards, and…what is this? You are clueless on what to do, where to go, and what to say. So I created this simple guide to help you make your way through the chat boards.

The Front Page

On the front page of the boards, there are around 20 different message boards. Under each one is a short description of what you are supposed to talk about on that certain board.

For example, under the ‘Help’ chat board, it says:

Need Neopets help? If you’ve got a question, this is the place to get answers.

Make sure you only chat on a board about what you are supposed to chat about. For example, you wouldn’t go to the ‘Guilds’ board and talk about the Altador Cup.

How to Stand up For Neopian Rights on the Neoboards by butter_fingers_emz

Everyday when I go onto Neopets, I go on the Help board to see if there is anyone I might be able to help. Almost everyday I see a board that says ‘Is this a scam?’ Now, if I go on that board, I am almost certain to find that no one at all has offered help to the poor person who started the board. No, instead, they are only saying things like: ‘Oh you are so gullible’, ‘You are scamming’ and ‘What a n00b’.

None of those comments are helping the person who started the board, and the reason they started the board was, like it or not, to get help. Maybe it is a bit gullible, falling for a scam, but we all make mistakes, and anyway, being gullible is no ones fault.
