Free Neopets Fonts

These fonts are fonts which have been used by Neopets on their website. They appear on banners, on images, on avatars and everything in between.

How to use these fonts

Once they are downloaded, unzip the files into your font directory. For most computers, this will be Local Disk (C:)\Windows\Fonts but will vary from computer to computer.

After you unzip the files to your font directory, reset your computer and the font should automatically appear in font selection menus.

Heffaklump

Known as Heffaklump, this font is used widely throughout the website. Ever dreamed of creating a Neopets themed site yourself, use its font for banners or just have for kicks? Well Heffaklump is the answer for you!

Avatars: They’ve Ruined Neopia by Hanik732

Avatars, since the day they’ve been out, they’ve just been wrecking Neopia. People have gone mad into collecting them. I myself was a heavy avatar collector, but then I realized, what is it worth? They ruined Neopia, absolutely ruined it. Yes, you might think I’m crazy, but let me explain my reasons before you call me crazy. So here are my reasons on how avatars have ruined all of Neopia and Neopets.

1: Game Scamming: The scammers have a huge opportunity for scamming now. Because the demand for certain game avatars have gotten so high, people are beginning to hire some stranger just so that they can play a game for them and get them an avatar. Why would anybody give their password up like that just for an avatar? This stranger now has a huge opportunity to take your neopoints, items, petpets, pets, whatever they wanted. They could even change your password and demand ransom for your account back. Yes, all this CAN and probably will happen just if you give away something as simple as your password.

Neopets Back in my Day by Freddy Headness

You know how when you go over to an older relative’s house, and they reminisce about the “good old days”? Well, older Neopians can do the same, only in this case, “old” would be about three or four years old. A person is able to go to the neoboards and see the current issues Neopia is experiencing plots, avatars, new ideas, etc.

Well, back in my day, Neopia was much different. There was no such thing as Roo Island, Kiko Lake, or even the Deserted Fairground. Neopia was much smaller back then. The founding of Meridell was a huge deal. The Neoboards were abuzz with talk of a medieval world. Could it be possible? The Neopets team made a medieval world! What will the pets look like? Will a paint brush come with it? Those were all the topics concerning Meridell. Then came the war. Everyone on the boards had chosen a side, Darigan or Meridell. We all know how the war ended. Meridell won, and Lord Darigan had been vanquished. And yes, this was before the second Meridell war soon after with Lord Kass.

Click on the ‘Approach the Shrine’ button at these times to get the item/upgrade that you want.

  • Speed: Every fifth second of the hour.
  • Defense: Every tenth second of the hour.
  • Strength: Every thirty minutes of the hour.
  • Endurance: Every hour of the day.
  • Level: Every even (2:00, 4:00, 6:00) hour of the day.
  • Burnt Food: 11:00-12:00 NST.
  • Dubloons: Every 55 seconds past the minute.
  • 10 Strength Points: Every 30 minutes past the hour.

Auctions

I love the auctions but it’s NOT a good habit, and if you are easily persuaded to buy things and LOVE competition, you would be a great person to bid at the auctions; but I suggest you don’t get into the habit because it’s bad. I once spent 60,000 neopoints at the auctions IN ONE DAY! (In fact, in only a little less than five hours.) If you do choose to bid at the auctions, you should carefully watch that no one bids on your item. If someone bids on your item at the last-minute (or second) there is nothing you can do.

Don’t Be Scammed! by Allyson Marie

Scammers – a Neopian’s ememy. They are everywhere, and when you least expect them to be there – they are.

Scammers have one job in mind, to take your account, to mess you up, to make you upset. Do not let them do this to you.

You decide to go to the neoboards, and you see a board titled “Quitting Neopets” or something of that sort. As you wonder about the board and enter it, you see that it says something like, “Quitting Neopets! I have painted pets, paintbrushes, and 1,000,000 neopoints! Tell me if you want it!” Once you see this, click the link that says report this board. This is a scammer. If you go for it, they will ask for your password to ‘check out’ your account to see if you are ‘suitable for such an account’. Then, like what once happened to me, your account is out of your hands and into the scammers.
