1. Opening Your Shop

Dont rush into opening your shop. You could take all of the time you need. The best time to open a shop is when you have above 5,000 neopoints because then youll have enough to restock at least once in 2 weeks.

2. Greeting Message

Your greeting message should be something welcoming and not commanding. For example, Come in and buy something, or else… is not a good greeting message. Along with messages that beg people to donate and messages that sound cheesy, like, Buy, Buy, Buy! A good greeting message is something like, Welcome, come in and look around. Or just simply, Welcome to my shop Good greeting messages are short and simple.

3. Items

Stock items that are wanted, for example, go to the concert ticket booth and buy 2 or 3 tickets for that concert. (Make sure a popular band is playing, like Chomby and the Fungus Balls or Jazzmosis) Than sell them for almost two or three times the price. Junk items are better off donated to the money tree or used for the Packrat avatar.

4. Prices

ALWAYS price your items at least 15 neopoints below the leading Shopping Wizard Price. This way, if someone comes to your shop, theyll remember you for the low price and keep coming back. Check the wizard weekly, and adjust your prices.

5. Restocking

You should at least restock you shop every 2 weeks. If your shop is empty, put at least 1 item in stock. Having an empty shop makes a very bad impression on shoppers. You should restock every 3-4 days, though. That way loyal shoppers always get something new every time they visit.

6. Advertising

An easy way of advertising is putting an ad message in your signature, you can do this by visiting the chat preferences. This way people, see the add every time you post on the neoBOARDS.
