Do you want to know how to play Faerie Cloud Racers? First of all, you should know the main concept of the game. The point is to beat the other faeries you compete against, seeing who can last the longest without crashing into each other or an obstacle.
There are certain obstacles you have to avoid in this game. They can be bushes, houses, or the trail you and your opponent make. They look like this:
The quicker you get your opponent to run into something, the more points you get. You want to end the round as quickly as possible. Use the arrow keys to move your faerie. After you beat your opponent, you will move on to another faerie that is of higher skill, etc.
Here Are Some Ways to Win
- Drive around crazily and struggle to get your opponent to lose
- Do #1 and have some luck
- Have a strategy
Which do you think is the best way to win the game? That’s right, # 3. Now I’m going to share with you one of my strategies.
Strategy #1
Ok, the first thing you want to do is go down one space. I’ve found that most of your opponents go up. This means you will go under them, like this:
Now, once you do this, be ready to go in between the space and the edge of the game. Beware, though, you can run into the side of the game, and that counts as a crash.
Try to go in the space like this:
Now, this takes some practice, so don’t be frustrated if you don’t get it right away.
Next thing to do is to try to form a box around your opponent. You can do this multiple ways, but I usually go in the other space, like this:
This works the majority of the time. If it doesn’t, then try to form a box some other way. The more you play the game, the better you will get. It takes practice.
Issue #1
Tree or house in the space. (This usually only happens in the later stages of the game.) If this happens, go the opposite way, and try to trap your opponent.
Issue #2
Opponent goes down instead of up. Go the opposite.
The main idea of this strategy is trying to trap your opponent. That’s the main key. If you can’t, try to beat out your opponent. It’s better to get fewer points then to lose the round.
You will play all of these faeries, except for the one you chose to play as.
After you defeat most of the faeries, the last two faeries you compete against will go at a much, faster speed, and so will you. It’s much harder to control your player, so this is where I usually lose the game. But once you get to this spot, you will get 1000 NP if you send the score. Once you get good at the game, this can become easy neopoints, especially if you like the game.

Excellent guide Trumpit. I always use strategy 1 myself.
