There are great areas on Neopets where you can get free food to feed your neopets! Ally K (thirteen_turtles) sends in this great tip on how to feed them for free!

Of course, many Neopians don’t want to buy food for their pets and of course, there is an easier way! Through several sponsored areas on Neopets, each of your pets can be fed one item for free. If you go to all the links below, your pet can go all the way from dying to not hungry.

In addition to these tips, visit the Giant Omelette on Tyrannia for your free omelette! This will feed your neopet three times just from one item!

“Neopets has always been and will always be a free site!”

Those words always make me think of a sign that says “Free Kittens”. At first, you tend to think it’s a great thing and why wouldn’t you think so. Free is always good, or so we’ve been led to believe. I’d like to share some analogies and facts about free things that may help you to realize that while it’s a noble thing to keep Neopets free, it may not necessarily be in the best interest of the Neopets team nor Neopians in general. Please take a moment and consider the following information and see if you draw the same conclusions I did.

Free Paintbrushes

Oh paintbrushes, you make my neopet beautiful! We take you in and you fill us with your color! While many Neopets game players will read this and think, “What is he on?” the sentiment and frenzy that rampages about Neopets paintbrushes and the assortment of colors it can offer your neopet borders on hysteria.

It it not surprising that paintbrushes are extremely expensive and cut deep into your pockets. Even basic paintbrushes start around the five figure mark. So what are ways of gaining these paintbrushes?

Buy the paintbrush from user shops

Using the Shop Wizard, you can often find good deals on paintbrushes. These tend to go very fast however so be prepared for some fast clicking. Often cheap paintbrushes in user shops are as a result of incorrect pricing or newbie pricing by people who don’t know the real value of these items.
