Turmac Roll Tips

Increase your chances of getting a higher point berry by Blonde_hot

If, when on hard mode, you slow down completely (using the left arrow) and then speed up fully (using the right arrow) then you increase your chances of getting the higher point berries.

When to concentrate on upping your score by Lindsey

Playing on the hard level, get yourself a score of about 1-2 hundred, or at least a score that will give you a decent profit. After you have reached your desired score, don’t concentrate TOO hard on the berries, unless it’s a rare one.

After you get that 1 – 2 hundred score, if you keep going without worrying about berries and concentrating on not dying, the game will boost your points automatically. Worked for me!

Turmac Roll tips by Joebushy

Turmac Roll is a simple game – but, unlike some people say, it involves skill. A lot of skill. It also requires knowledge. I’m here to give you both of these.

First of all, the only way to get past some parts with ease is to continuously hold the right arrow key. Otherwise, your jumping ability is worse than it can be. Remember, the right arrow key enables you to move faster. I play the game in hard mode, but I would think it best for beginners to try easy or medium modes.

Besides that, you need to remember the amount of points per berry. The two best are the one that looks like a cherry and the one that looks like a blue pear. Do not do anything stupid like sacrifice a ‘cherry berry’ for a fish berry.

Here’s why you should always play on the hard difficulty by jilian2

I really suggest that if you want big scores go to the hard section. Here’s why:

  • Snidberry – 4 (on medium) 6 (on hard)
  • Loveberry – 4 (on medium) 12 (on hard)
  • Chiaberry – 8 (on medium) 24 (on hard)
  • Conkerberry – 16 (on medium) 16 (on hard)
  • Voidberry – 30 (on medium) 30 (on hard)
  • Fishberry – 50 (on medium) 100 (on hard)
  • Jumbleberry – 100 (on medium) 150 (on hard)
  • Juicyberry – 150 (on medium) 200 (on hard)
  • Unguberry – 200 (on medium) 300 (on hard)
  • Aquaberry – 400 (on medium) 400 (on hard)

If you go to the easy it is pretty slow and boring. Medium, would be a bit of everything but hard is extremely awesome. Very easy and nice scoring of berries and big chances of getting the special and high scoring berries!

The hills clarification by sarah_stone

The brown bits that you supposedly “have” to jump over don’t really hurt you. It’s the spiky hills that (if you land on top of one) that result in a game over.

Turmac Roll is a great way to earn neopoints real quick and easy. Turmac roll doesn’t take much skill. In fact, it’s just about pushing the up arrow button at the right time.

Now there are three levels to play the game, easy, medium, and hard. Easy is that you only earn one point while you’re just rolling along and aren’t getting berries. In medium you get two point, and in Hard you get three points. You might be asking yourself, what is the other difference between hard and easy. Well I have the answer!! Absolutely nothing.

Easy just gives you fewer points and worse berries, easy is just a great way to practice. Since there really is no difference between either modes, you’re better off choosing hard. I always pick hard and sometimes you get really rare berries like the aquaberry. This is really rare but it’s worth playing the game for it. Since you get 100 neopoints for 100 points, this a great way to earn neopoints.

When you submit your score, the Neopets team decides to be funny and give you a corny joke according to your score. So I hope you liked my guide and don’t forget to roll with it!
