Trouble at the National Neopian Tips

Sound off and bonus neopoints

I find it easier to play with the sound off as it makes it a lot easier to concentrate. If a man with bags of neopoints comes, DO NOT BAR HIM as he gives you 200 np (in the game). – sarah_stone

Make fewer mistakes by sitting up straight

Sit up straight. No, I don’t mean to sound like your mother nagging you about posture, but if you sit up straight and keep your fingers lightly above the keyboard you’ll find that you can hit the correct button faster and with fewer mistakes. – Kat

Focus your eyes

Find a place to focus your eyes. I find that if I focus my eyes on the gold carpet in front of the doors, I can see out of my peripheral vision both the people in the doors and the keys that correspond with the doors. It helps cut down on my mistakes, but you might find a different place to focus your eyes that works just as well. – Kat

Keep your eyes on the NP level

Don’t forget to glance up at you NP level every now and then. When you reach 100 NP’s you can turn those NP’s into a gold bar. The robbers can’t steal the gold (too heavy) so you’ll be guaranteed that whatever amount you have in gold is absolutely safe. – Kat

Know thy enemy!

Know thy enemy! There are four bandits you have to watch for (well, five actually but one is a pair). There are two Meercas who sort of look like Bonny and Clyde, a red Scorchio with a mask, a Usul (at least I think that what it is) dressed all in green with a hood over it’s face, and in the higher levels there is a large red Techo in a grey sweat suit. Make sure you can recognize each of these bandits! I’ve accidentally locked out a green Quiggle (and lost a life) because I was hasty and thought it was the Usul in green. – Kat

Play the game with two people

I always play the game with another person. Each of us is responsible for 3 doors, which makes it a lot easier. – jagged_xx_edge
