A Fairer Deal For Younger Players? by NeoMoaner

COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Act) prohibits the storage or use of personal information from children under the age of 13, and the use of message boards.I, myself, am 12, and I have only ever seen the Neoboards in screenshots, or when watching my friend on his account. This is understandable, nevertheless annoying to the band of children that this applies to.

However, recently the ‘Edit’ button for pet pages disappeared. I was annoyed by this, as I was updating my Kyrii?s page at the time, hoping to win a site spotlight. Now that dream is shattered.

Shortly after, my ‘Break The Chain’ ad in my shop was replaced by a red X. Wondering why, I ventured into shop properties, and found that the previously HTML-enabled box had been replaced by a drop down list of corny presets. So much for a guild ad, a background (I had a really nice background on there at the time) or a cursor.

The Problem With Purple by terragainsborough

I love purple! It’s my favorite color. You could even say I’m obsessed with it (which I am)! That’s why I’m upset about the current state of the purple pet and petpet paint brushes – they don’t paint your pets purple as advertised, but instead purple with orange spots.

When I first started playing Neopets three years ago, my friend told me I could paint my pets colors other than the beginning four. “Can I paint them purple?!” I asked her—to which she replied that I could, but that I’d need a paint brush.

I played Neopets almost non-stop for the first few days until I had enough neopoints for the coveted purple paint brush! I rushed over to the rainbow fountain to paint my uni! But, when I got there, I found out I couldn’t paint my uni purple. My friend told me to look up the list of paintable pets and I did. My Eyrie could be painted purple. That was pretty cute. I went ahead and painted my Eyrie. He was so adorable! I just loved him!

Avatar Wishing by felicalittle

There are many wonderful avatars that grace the Neopets site currently but there are a few that they are lacking, or at least some of us think so. Do you ever wonder why there isnt an avatar for this or an avatar for that? I know I have. One avatar I would really like to see would be a stock market avatar. Another would be a book related avatar. What about a restocking avatar?

We Neopians should get together and begin requesting those long awaited avatars from the editorial or on the chat boards until eventually some of them are released. I have a few ideas about different avatars I would like to see, I mean really see, and would even try to collect them.
