Scammer: Real Conversation by Rosie

Scamming- here is a full conversation that usually goes on between scammers and their victims. I did this as a test to show you that scammers can do this in a number of ways. Do not believe this, it was a trick I played on a scammer, showing that I was interested in what he told me. I am *~*Rio*~*, and he is kenny9905. Please be careful, this is what happened.

Jump over your enemy

Well I found something about this Deckswabber. You know when there are enemies attacking you or they are in your way. Now there is a way getting across them without hurting yourself. When the enemy suddenly jumps right toward you right where you are then you should jump towards them. But the hard thing is when you jump you have to jump when your enemy is jumping. Don’t do this if they already landed because you’ll get hurt. Just get the timing right and you’ll end the game safely without hurting yourself. You’ll get used to it. – Lydia von Boode

I Was a Scammer by Anonymous

PART ONE: HOW IT BEGAN

I had been playing on neopets for some months, and had good pets (not great, though) and I was doing ok in NP. I fed them and cared for them. All the normal stuff. One day at school, the same friend who referred me to neopets told me about his cousin, who had a way to get peoples’ accounts using fake login pages. At that moment, I wondered. Could I pull something off like that? Of course not. I didn’t even know what HTML was at the time, much less about the creation of the scam…

School was out. I had created other accounts in the past months, one of which that I was very proud of. I had only one pet, seeing as how I had trouble with my other pets, not enough to keep on feeding them and training them. I had created a guild as well. There weren’t many members, yet I was happy. Then…one of those days, I was frozen. Why? For repeating what someone else had said. Of course, it was stupid, yet a simple warning would have been fair. I was annoyed by it for a while. And during that while, I remembered about the scam. Could I pull something off like that? Maybe… I had learned basic HTML thanks to neopets, and I learned how the scam worked thanks to another site that (foolishly) went into detail how the scam worked. And that’s when I began scamming.

Common Scams by toranize

Having been on Neopets for less than a month, I have seen all manner of shop-type scams. (Due to my style of fund-raising, I come across all sorts of scams in all types of shops.)

Login Page:

The first one has been covered quite a bit. You look in the shop wiz for an item and you find it for an unbelievably low price. You go to that shop and click on the item (thank goodness it’s still there!) and find yourself at the “Oops! You’re not logged in” page (The Aisha page). Check the address on the Aisha page, if it is not www.neopets.com, don’t put in your name and password. You go back to the shop in question and report him (or her) if they haven’t already been frozen.

Biscuit Brigade: Hagan’s Last Stand Guide by blackcat20000

Your ‘base’ in this tower defence game is in the bottom right corner. The cookies. Don’t let the enemy (who comes from the top left) get through the castle walls and into your little cookie stash. Booooo. Bad Skarl. You can accomplish this goal by setting up towers (yay!), either offensive or delaying. To start though, the delaying ones won’t do much, as you might have guessed, they don’t do much damage… mostly delaying. I would choose easy to start with if your a real beginner. Not because you really are one, but you need to experiment. It’s MY experiment place, and it helps. No loss, no gain, right? Eh… Or was it no pan no gain… heh. Now those were the basics… Now for my technique!
