Cheat! Guide by crystal_flower90

Cheat is a very difficult game. Once you get the hang of it youll get a nice shiny trophy!

Rules

There are many rules for Cheat. If you are still confused read Neopets rules for Cheat!
1. The object of the game is to remove all your cards.
2. You play the cards on what the computer says like if it says to play 2s 3s or 4s you pick the cards that have 2 and go.
3. If you dont have the card number that the computer says to play then cheat. To cheat just select any of the cards and try to get away with it!

There are several strategies that you can use in order to win this game. I use these every time I play, and so far I have NEVER lost. Following these simple rules almost guarantees that you will get that 1st place trophy.

1) This is the most important — NEVER cheat, unless you have to. In the first 2 rounds or so you may not get caught, but in the later rounds, you will get caught most of the time.

2) Put down the cards that you only have one of first. This leaves you with more pairs, triples, and so on, which makes it easier to tell who is cheating.

Cheat! Tips

Look at your own cards

When playing Cheat, you play against 3 other opponents. Let’s say you put down some cards, then two others, and then the last opponent (for example, Brucey B). If Brucey B plays 2 sevens, and you’re not sure whether or not to let him slide, or accuse him of cheating, look at your own cards.

If you have that number, or any number one value less or one value more of it (in this case, either a 6, a 7, or an 8) then let him slide.

If nobody else accuses him, and your turn is next, then you will only get those 3 choices of number to choose from, and you will not be caught cheating, because you haven’t! (As long as you have one of these 3 numbers, and ONLY one of those 3 numbers. Not 1 seven and 2 sixes together in one play.)

Cheat! is a easy way to earn neopoints fast. It is just a simple card game (sometimes)! Somebody places down cards upside down and tells you what they are. If you think they are cheating click the accuse so and so of cheating. I’ve become Cheat! champion like 4 times and at the process made like 1000+ neopoints each time.

How do I know if my opponent is cheating you ask. Well I know the answer. You can never know for certain but what I do is remember or write down what cards are in the pile. So if someone puts down something that conflicts with that you can be pretty sure they are cheating! Also you rarely have four of the same cards so if someone puts down 4 of the same cards they are most likely cheating. I say most likely because it does sometimes happen. But it has happened to me like 5 times out of 14 games maybe. There’s less of a chance that they are cheating with 3 of the same cards but it is still a possibility.
