Snow Wars II Guide by ZooKid6

The goal of Snow Wars II is to build walls of snow around your snowmen and to protect them from attack by rebuilding walls in each round and using your catapults to attack enemies. Working against you are enemy catapults, which knock holes in your walls, and enemy Lupes, which can damage your unprotected snowmen.

At the start of the game, you are given 30 seconds to build walls using various shapes of snow blocks. Then, you have 15 seconds to place catapults within walls. You are given one more catapult than the number of your protected snowmen. At the start of each round thereafter, you are given 15 seconds to build and repair walls and 15 seconds to place catapults. You are given as many catapults as you have protected snowmen. At the end of each round, you have 15 seconds to fire your catapults at enemy catapults and Lupes. Both the enemy catapults and the enemy Lupes move, so you may need to fire multiple shots to hit a certain enemy.

In order for a snowman to be protected, the walls around it must be continuous, including at the corners. If there is a gap in a wall, it is possible for a Lupe to enter and to destroy a snowman. Furthermore, you are able to fire only those catapults that are within continuous walls. Because your catapults cannot move once they are placed, a disabled catapult can be brought back into play only by repairing the walls around it. You can tell when an area is completely surrounded by walls because it will turn blue. It is important to leave enough room for catapults when building walls around snowmen.

You lose the game immediately if none of your snowmen are within continuous walls.

Hints:

Place catapults so that you can reinforce your walls by making them a few blocks thick. Sometimes this is tricky if one or more of your snowmen are near the snow barrier.

The closer your catapults are to the snow barrier, the less time it takes for a snowball to reach the enemy. Since each catapult has to wait for a fired snowball to land before it can fire again, you may want to start by placing your catapults near the snow barrier.

Lupes disappear if you surround them by a continuous wall. Of course, you can only place walls on your side of the snow barrier, but you can attack Lupes on their own side using your catapults.

You can destroy your own walls with your catapults. This can be useful if your walls are in an odd shape that will make adding more blocks difficult.

A score of 800 or greater (required for earning the 1000np maximum) can be achieved in two or three rounds by building a single continuous wall around all of your snowmen, rather than trying to build separate walls around each. Because you score points for each square within continuous walls, this allows you to score a few hundred points each round. It also leaves plenty of room for placing catapults.
