Don’t refresh if you have winnings to collect
I have tried using the F5 key many times under different circumstances. One thing I have discovered is DON’T hit F5 if you have a winning to collect. You don’t get the winnings! – Denise Meyer

If you win a prize in Scorchy Slots and have the option to hold, hold the 3 or that just won you a prize. and you’ll win it again. – Shaun
Better rewards
I noticed that Scorchy Slots seem to have some sort of regulatory gadget on them that sets the amount of prize money they give out. I have found that playing in the middle of the day I can lose over a thousand NP w/o winning anything, because it is getting divided between so many different people, I would guess. BUT! If I play in the middle of the night between about 12 AM and 5 AM Neopian time, I can make 40,000+ np in a single night, after all the maps and faeries have been sold. And if you happen to hit the jackpot? 😀 I thought this worth passing on. – Velocity Raptor
