Goal

Fill in the blank boxes by moving your mouse over each square and clicking when you see the number you want.

Rules

Each column and row (regions) must include the numbers 1 through 9. Also, each 3×3 box (cage) within the large box must have the numbers 1 through 9. The numbers cannot repeat.

Tips

  1. Use process of elimination to determine what numbers go in which box- No region can contain any duplicate digits. In a Roodoku region each digit appears exactly once. For example, if a digit appears in a row, it cannot be in any other cell in the row.
  2. Likewise, each digit can appear in a cage only once. If a digit is in a cage, it cannot appear in that cage again.
  3. One blank in a region or cage: Each region must contain all the digits one to nine. So, if all the digits but one appear in a row, the missing digit must appear in the empty square.
  4. The sum of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 is 45. Therefore, each section will equal 45. – cfurman28
