I have been on Neopets for a long time (more than thirty-five months), and over this time, I have learned many things about the site. The thing I will discuss with you today is help with the game Pyramids. With any help I give you, I assume that you know the basic rules of this game.
Pyramids Help
There are two reasons why people play the game Pyramids. The first is that they want neopoints. The second reason is that they want the trophy. The way to get the trophy for Pyramids is to win twice (not consecutively). This one will take a long time to complete, but with my instructions, you will reach two games in a lot less time. With the money thing, you can make a lot of it with this game and a lot more using my instructions.
I’ve come to the conclusion that this game is more about chance than mind, but strategy is a big factor in winning. A rule of thumb is removing a card that would give you two cards instead of one. An example is if you have a five on your deck and you can flip over a six or a four. The six has one card that would flip over if chosen, while the four has two cards that would flip over if chosen. Choose the four in this scenario. Another thing to keep in mind is that the higher the card that you are removing, the more points you get from it, which, in turn, means the more neopoints you get from it. Let’s go to the first example but change it around a little bit. Let’s say that the four and the six have only one card that would reveal behind each of them, but the six is on a higher level than the four. Choose the one higher, the six. Keeping the two rules I just explained in mind, let’s create another example. Let’s take the first example again (not the second, the first), but put the six on a level higher than the four. What do you do? Give up? It all depends on what you are aiming for. If you are aiming for neopoints, go for the six. If you are aiming for the trophy, go for the four.
The most important thing for this game, no matter what you are playing for, is determination. If you don’t give up and keep going for your goal, you’ll get it. Personally, I play for the trophy. I have actually only beaten Pyramids once. Many, many times I have tried, though, and have gotten extremely close. Countless times I have had only one card left and failed. But I haven’t given up, and neither should you. Good luck to you, and I hope you either get many neopoints or that trophy! – lynixlord
