Pillsbury Strudel Bakery Guide by Apocalypsesqueaks

This game brings in a lot of fast cash if you know how to play it.

My high score is approximately 2000 points…equivalent to 1k neopoints….and personally, compared to all the other games I’ve played, this one is the most relatively fast amount of neopoint gain.

First off, this game is NOT about deciding which one you want to fall and which you want to work on. Actually, it’s almost like juggling….but let’s get start slow.

Basically, the game goes like this: You have strudels dropped towards you, you catch them with the toaster by moving under them, then press up to eject the strudel. Then you move under the falling strudel to eat it again. Wherever you press up, a little packet of icing will appear, and you get bonus if you aim and hit it, subsequently frosting the strudel…(of course, you have to eat it to get the points). Later levels, the more you eat, the bigger you will grow…making it easier for you to eat them.

For beginners, just try to not let any strudels drop to the floor. That’s your main goal. So as soon as your toaster gets a strudel, immediately press up, or even press up in anticipation of the strudel falling. That cuts down the time you need to wait for the strudel to fall back down for you to eat. Do this for each strudel, one by one, don’t even try to multitask and screw the icing, it’s going to mess you up. It’ll get you to at least level 10 if you’re concentrating.

Now as soon as you’ve mastered that… here are the advanced skills:

It’s many bonus points if you frost the strudel and eat it. Especially at higher levels because the point increments go up with levels. So as soon as you hit the green mark on the toaster, eject it to hit the icing packet. Keep your peripheral vision on Krawk; anticipate where he’s going to drop the strudel. This is important because you want to be as close to the next strudel as possible; if you’re on the other side of the screen trying to catch a falling strudel while krawk drops another….it makes you lose. So you always want to be under the next one.

Of course, that former beginner skill comes into play too. You CANNOT eat a strudel while you have one in your toaster. This is important. You NEED to EJECT BEFORE EATING another one. Which means, if you were waiting for one to cook and another drops, you need to eject that fast, run for it, get it in the toaster, eject that, then eat the one you ejected before that, then the one you just ran for. It sounds complicated but it is a very simple concept.

Have fun. – Apocalypsesqueaks
