Every one in a while, Neopets goes on a promotional quest and winds up in unknown places. Swamped by fans, they often please their fans with free items. For example, not very long ago, Neopets along with two of it’s artists went to myEPB Bookstore in Suntec City (Singapore)! There, they were met by thousands of NeoPet enthusiasts and someone was kind enough to scan a picture sketched for her by the artist Anthony to add on to the site 🙂

I was there (8am) until the time the Neopets people left (10.45pm).
8am.
The Q started at 7am this morning and there are already about 2-300 neopets fans at the entrance. Neopets stickers were given out an hour later and the stickers that they gave were NOT in production any more! Some people who were tired left after the received the stickers.
10.05am.
(By this time, the Q is about 200m long, about 3-4000 neopets fans)
The doors of myEPB opened and the first thing I saw was Anthony and Keith. Only 20 people are allowed in at a time. There was a VERY small amount of purple chias on the round shelves and no white aishas. Half the shop is filled with Neopets merch’. I was greeted by the friendly Neopets staff who later was going to tell me some of the new features coming up. Everyone dashed towards the plushies and grabbed as many as they could.
It was only 10 minutes later that I found out there were no blue cybunny plushies! (Thank goodness I had bought the full set a few months back or I won’t have time to get anything as I was busy chatting with Keith) The blue cybunny plushies was replaced by the green cybunny sold online a few months ago.
10.20am.
A long Q has started for the valuable piece of paper with a touch of neopets (the drawing).
12.00pm.
The purple chias have been sold out for the past one and a half hour. The staff room door suddenly swung open for the first time and a Neopets staff wearing a neopets t-shirt and decorated with neopets jewelry from head to toe came out with a small box fill with purple chias! Security was needed as the neopets fans made a dash for them and the other fans who were waiting for their turn to get in tried to push and jump Q.
12.10pm.
When the last of the purple chias got a owner, a Blue Lupe came out to cheer up the people who missed them. The cute fluff Lupe was taken away for an interview about 15mins later.
5.20pm.
(I did not have to line back up in Q when I went out for launch, the friendly neopets staff who recognized me allowed me back in)
The Q is only a little shorter then this morning and Anthony and Keith have been drawing for the past 7 hours without stopping for food or water. I felt sorry for them and bought them some lollies. They smiled at me and Anthony even took another lolly!
8.00pm
The nice and jolly Neopets staff( the one who greeted me in the morning and the Sam guy who allowed me back in) saw me standing at a corner so he decided to just have a chat with me. We talking for a while and I stared to ask him about some of the new features coming out.
So, will a new world new coming out soon? neopets staff: Yes, it’s going to be based on knights and witches. It’s still being worked on.
Cool. Have you ever thought of changing the Lenny?
Neopets staff: Yes, we did, but not many other players like that idea.
Poor old Lenny! Are Anthony and Keith the creators of all the neopets?
Neopets staff: Not all, but they are our best artists.
Are you guys going to come out with new merch’? neopets staff: Yes, we are. There might be pet pet plushies coming out soon.
Cool! I’ll be the first to get one!:) I do hope neopets will be around forever!
Neopets staff: Oh yes, it’s going to be around for some time, don’t worry!
Neopets staff: Sorry, but I have to go, I hope to see you later!

Anthony drew me a Poogle before he stop and rest. I looked around me and noticed ALL the neopets staff were around me! Everything was sold out but there were just 6 or 7 cybunnies left on the shelves. When Anthony had finished drawing the Poogle, he greeted me good bye and good night before he and Keith left.
They will be back in 3 months, I’ll see what I can ask them and tell you.:)

Please note: Most Limited Too stores received their shipments of Disco Aisha plushies on June 20th, and they keep them in the back storage room. So in other words, if you really can’t wait to get one, ask the cashier or person behind the counter if they received any new Neopets plushies. I know I did, and I bought one myself! 🙂 Just a helpful hint/notice for anyone that really wants one. – fiery_girl (This also applies to any other releases)
