Mynci Beach Volleyball Guide by Kennex5000

Have you ever felt that Mynci Beach Volleyball is a tough game to beat? Well, I used to feel this way as well until I discovered some tactics and tricks to beat the opponent. Here are some of the tips, tricks and tactics I use that you can adopt to make you good at Mynci Beach Volleyball.

Tips Section

Tip #1: Do NOT keep jumping around.
“Yeah sure… jumping allows me to catch the ball and hit it back…” I’m sure that’s what most of you were thinking. BUT I said to not do it frequently. Jump only when you really need to. Do you realize that every time you jump, you are in mid-air and are VERY vulnerable to losing a point? This is because when you are in mid-air and the opponent suddenly makes a hit, you can’t move back or forth fast enough to receive the ball and it makes you open to the attack. Hence, stay on the ground for as much as possible so that you can rush back and forth to receive the ball.

Tip #2: Do NOT hit the Pawkeet.
“Yeah sure… the Pawkeet provides power-ups which I can use, why shouldn’t I hit it?” I’m sure that’s what you were thinking. BUT have you thought of this? Whenever you hit the Pawkeet, the game environment changes and may become unfavorable for you. This is especially the case when you get super jump and (for those who don’t know how to control you Mynci well) super speed. Why so? Super jump makes the time you stay in the air after you jump SUPER long, which means each time you jump, you are vulnerable for a SUPER long time. In fact, I personally hate super jump unless the net is big.

Tip #3: Relax…
This game requires patience. If you panic and try to rush things, you will tend to commit mistakes easily and let your opponent gain points. I tend to sit comfortably (sometimes slouch) when I play the game and it works. I’m not bulling over here…

Tactics Section

Tactic #1: Use YOUR HEAD!
No, I don’t mean for you to bang your head against the wall or keyboard or screen or… Remember, tip #1? Since you should jump frequently, you should stay on the ground and use your head. Actually, to be precise, its your Mynci’s head. Try to move your mynci back and forth so that the incoming ball lands on your forehead (except in certain cases). Why? Read on.

Tactic #2: Aim LOW!
Whenever you use your head, try to make it such that the angle is small from the horizontal. Look at the picture to figure out what I mean. This is especially the case when your net is the lower one. If your ball flies at a small angle and scraps the net, there is little time for the opponent to move around and be in position to receive the ball. Hence, it makes it easier for you to score.

Tactic #3: Stay in the middle of your court.
This is the best position to be. You aren’t too far from the net if you opponent hits a high angle ball which is going to land in front of the net. And you aren’t also too far from the back of the court if your opponent hits a low angle ball.

Tactic #4: WATCH THE TURDLE!
Do you panic whenever you see the Turdle coming over at your side. At a loss as to what you should do? Well, if the Turdle is at the left or right ends of your area, it’s obvious that you should stay in the middle. If the Turdle is in the middle, it’s a bit problematic but remember, you can JUMP over the Turdle. This time, there is a need to jump, so jump. Once you win/lose a point, immediately approach the Turdle and let it trap you before the ball starts moving again.

Moves I Use

Move #1: Rush N Serve
In case you didn’t know, you don’t need to jump and make the ball go straight up and then jump and hit the ball again to serve. I don’t really like to serve that way. When I just started out playing the game, I discovered that I could actually run up to the net and then jump (without stopping of course) to serve the ball. The ball will move over to the other court. Just be careful not to run too close to the net before you jump. This is because if you do so, you will collide with the net when you jump and bounce backwards. When that happens, your ball will not fly forward; it will fly backwards back into your own court. So just remember to start jumping at a good distance away from the net. This move is helpful because it makes it less likely for you to miss the ball when serving as compared to the “hit-up-high-then-hit-again” serve.

Did You Know?

  • That the opponent is the weakest when he gets super jump. Whenever the opponent gets that power-up, he makes mistakes in losing the ball rather often even at level 5 or 6! (That’s why I said super jump is bad lol) It is makes it rather easy for you to hit a ball such that the opponent cannot receive it.
  • That the sun changes position and becomes brighter/darker as you proceed along the game.
  • That if you hit the volleyball and make it land in front of the opponent (in round 1), he tends to hit the ball at the net or miss the ball.
