Jubble Bubble is an action game that was rated medium difficulty by TNT. It has a point:neopoint ratio of 100: 80
Object – The object of the game is to help Kelby, the maraquan Shoyru, save the falling maraquan JubJubs by cushioning their fall with giant bubbles blown out of his mouth.
The basics – You use your mouse to position Kelby under the falling objects, then you click and hold your mouse to shoot out an aimer- a stream of bubbles. When you release the mouse, Kelby will blow a big bubble out of his mouth that will go up to the height of the stream of bubbles. The bubble must make contact with the falling object at the end of the stream of bubbles or else the object won’t get trapped inside, it’ll just keep falling. Why do I keep saying objects instead of JubJubs? Because there aren’t just JubJubs, there are also two other objects that fall- dubloons and sea shells. You get three lives, and you lose a life every time a jubjub hits the ocean floor. As the game progresses, the jubjubs fall faster and faster.
The scoring – A JubJub is worth 10 points, a Sea shell is worth 5 points, and a Dubloon is worth 25 points
The strategy – There are a couple of things that you should do/consider to improve your game.
Having trouble catching the falling objects in your bubble? This is because the bubble has to hit the object directly and at the peak of the bubble stream. You can improve your aim by using your mouse as an second aimer. Put your mouse at about the middle height of the screen. The mouse shows you where the stream will go, so you can use it to measure if you have Kelby positioned right. As for the height of the bubble, I’ve found that the bubbles have a bit of “magnetism” when it comes to the height of the falling object. If the object is a little too high or too low then the bubble might catch it anyway. You need to judge the speed of the falling object and release the mouse at the appropriate time. In the early stages you can get away with releasing the bubble when the stream is on top of the falling object, but as the game progresses you need to release it further and further below the falling object, so that by the time the bubble gets up, the falling object will have come down, and hopefully the two will meet.
JubJubs are the only way you can lose a life, so they are the most important thing to catch. However, sea shells will knock you out for a bit if you hit them. In the early stages of the game you might only have to rush a little to get the next jubjub, but in the later stages it will make you lose a life, and when you’re really into the game you’ll lose all three in the time that you’re knocked out. This means that the importance of getting shells increases through the game. Dubloons should be taken as a bonus, and while they can boost your score pretty fast, they are the least important of the three falling objects.
As the game goes on, you will start to miss things like shells and dubloons. Dubloons have no effect unless you hit them with the bubble, so if you miss them, that’s ok. If you miss a shell, you’re gonna wanna pick a side of the shell and stay with it so that you don’t run into the shell. If you’re having trouble getting a particular JubJub (it gets harder to trap them when they get close to the bottom) then move on to the next closest JubJub to the floor.
If you get frustrated with this game, don’t give up. This is one of the easier games to play, and it will earn you 3,000np a day with a little practice! – Agriff1234
