Basic tips to keep in mind
When playing the game, make sure to put away everything that could possibly bother you. Turn off phones and make sure you’re relaxed. I usually play the game at night, when I’m not so tense or hyper. Hyper isn’t good. Playing the game to get 1000nps is pretty hard. I usually play till I get 805 points (603nps).
Getting a higher score is pretty hard. Grabbing every item does score you the extra bonus, true. Just the same, you’ll have to make really, really fast decisions like when there’s that one in every game time that you are trying to grab an item but see another, and you know you won’t be able to get both! Also, remember what each item is worth!! Say if the dubloon is dropping, really fast (usually does) and the chia pop is falling really fast as well, fast pace yourself under the dubloon as you will lose 2 points for the chia pop, but gain back 50 from the dubloon.
Often, you’ll be going for an item that’s falling really slow and there’s another item dropping as if gravity increased 1,000 times. If the item is worth risking, skid over and get it, then hurriedly return and get the first item. If you realize that playing Igloo Garage Sale is giving your fingers a real workout, you can warm your fingers up for this game by playing 200m Peanut Dash! Which is usually what I play before playing the Igloo Garage Sale game. May your fingers guide you to fame! – Naznight
The game
Well no doubt you’ve seen by now that the Garage Sale has turned into a game! After playing it hours on end I have found it to be a very enjoyable game but very annoying also but there are a few tips and tricks that I have found that will help you get a top score. In the first 5 levels when its easy TRY TRY TRY not to drop anything and you will get double your score because from level 6-7 onwards its pretty hard to not drop anything. Also try to prioritize. What’s more important, a 50 dubloon or a potion? If you can’t get to something always go for the item that’s worth more points.
You should try to predict where the item is being thrown so look up the top to see where the little character is. Always watch the piano and avoid it at all costs because it will be game over if you get hit!
With this few tips in mind you should get a much higher score! – mobilechick7
Bonus point rules
As you know, in Igloo Garage Sale, if you don’t drop any items in a round you get bonus points. These bonus points are equivalent to the total number of points you earned that round so in essence, when you don’t
drop any items in a particular level you get double the points you would normally get without the bonus. There is one exception to this rule. If you drop only one item in a round (causing you to loose the bonus
points) but don’t drop any items in the next round, the bonus points that you would get for the second round (the one where you didn’t drop anything) would be not only double the normal points for that round but you would also get the bonus points that you missed from the round before. Here is an example of this: Say in round two you drop one item which means you don’t get a bonus and the total points you got for the round is say 55. Then in round three you don’t drop any items and the number of points you get from the items is say 65. This would mean that the number of bonus points you get from round three would be 120 instead of just 65! – orangechipgurl
