Ice-Cream Machine Guide by angelicalex1

Sadly, I mean the game, not an ice-cream machine that you can go and get free ice-cream for your neopets whenever you like. But it is a really fun game in my opinion.

First I am going to tell you how to play it

You play a chia called Adee (which you move by moving the mouse).

The aim is to move around and avoid touching the scoops that start at the bottom of the screen and disappear when the get to the top (you could try quickly playing the game so you know what I am talking about).

You start with three lives and lose one each time you touch a scoop. On each level there is a certain amount of scoops you have to avoid to proceed to the next level (which increases by 25 each time).

There are a total of thirteen levels.

Next, these are the cheats

Typing strawberryvanillachocolate will get you a life. The best time to do it is when you’ve just clicked start game and all the scoops have loaded and it’s come up with a sign saying Press the Spacebar to start level. The computer will make a ding noise every time you get a life so it’s easy to tell if you got it right (or you could always just glance at the bit where it says the number of lives you have).

If you wait five minutes on the screen where it says Press Spacebar to start the level, it will come up with a spinning man instead on Adee the chia. This man will change back once you have started the level, but there are some good things about him. He will make you more likely to get good scoops and there will be an extra scoop that you might come across that gives you 1000 points. (I will explain more about it later.)

When you’re on the instructions page, click on the eye of the fish scoop and see what happens!

If you click on end game when you’re about to start Strawberry Level and you’re on the screen where it says press the spacebar to start, it will come up with a really cool endgame screen where the background flashes through all the level colours. This isn’t really a cheat but never right-click during a game of it, as it will give you instant game over.Secondly, I will tell you about the scoops. By the way when you get a scoop it will only last until the next level. And as always, there some bad ones and some good ones.

The good ones

Red scoop with a minus sign on it: It slows down the speed of the scoops. But it doesn’t make any difference on the first level, as they are already going their slowest. So don’t go and lose a life just because you were trying to slow down the scoops on the first level

Purple scoop with a mini chia shape on it: It makes you smaller, and if you can get another one of them while you are already small, you will turn tiny.Yellow scoop with a picture of a cherry on it: It gives you one hundred points. But getting this makes the effects of other sorts of puffs disappear. (Same goes for getting the Blue fish bonus.)

Blue scoop with a picture of a fish on it: It gives you 250 points

Pink scoop with a heart on it: It gives you an extra life. But remember, don’t lose a life to get a life as this will just be a waste of time (and you may not even end up getting the life).Grey scoop with a shield on it: It makes you invincible for a few seconds, and it turns red when it is about to go.

A strawberry with a rope coming out of it: It clears all the scoops from the screen, but you don’t get any points or anything so it’s only really useful on the higher levels when you need a quick 2 second break.

A scoop with a person on it: I’ve never gotten this scoop because it’s super rare, but it gives you 1000 POINTS! So if you see it try as hard as you can to get it.

And the not so good ones

Blue scoop with a large chia on it: It makes you larger so it is harder to weave in and out of gaps.Green scoop with a plus on it: It makes the scoops move faster so you don’t have as much time to get out-of-the-way.

Here is a list of all the levels in order

  1. Strawberry
  2. Vanilla
  3. Chocolate
  4. Mint
  5. Blueberry
  6. Vanilla Choc-chip
  7. Strawberry Vanilla Chocolate
  8. Peach
  9. Vanilla Chocolate Swirl
  10. Double Chocolate
  11. Tigersquash
  12. Rainbow berry
  13. Garlicky Bratwurst

Now for some of my personal tips (whenever I do what they say I tend to get a good score)

  • Only go for good scoops if you know you can get them without losing a life. I know every now and then you might accidentally run into one, but try not to as much as you can.
  • Try to stay in about the middle of the screen. That way, you won’t suddenly have a scoop right in front of you and you won’t get trapped at the back or side of the screen.
  • Don’t go out of your way to get the red scoops on the first level because the speed it starts of on that level is the slowest it can go (I know I said that before, but I’m repeating it).
  • If you’re in a tight position and you don’t think you can get out, instead of giving up, just try to get out (even if it is just a random movement of the mouse). Because then you at least have a chance of getting out.

That’s all the tips I have for it. So hopefully next time you play it you will get a personal best. Goodluck!
