Let’s face it. Every single person on Neopets, boy or girl, 10 or 40, wants neopoints. You buy food, clothes, and shelter with them. Let’s also face the fact that nobody likes people pleading for them! It can be annoying and rude! Neopets is supposed to be honest and friendly, not scavenger-like and mean! There are ways to get them without asking!
Step 1
Go to the games section, and in the search box, type in “Quiz”. There should be two options to click on: Devo 2.0: Personality Quiz, and Venus Vibrance: Find your Neopets Vibe. Now boys, you may be thinking “I’m not going to take a quiz about a band members or razors!”, but you should change your attitude.
By just clicking random answers on the Devo 2.0 quiz, you automatically get 200 game points, which gets you 200 neopoints! If you play that 3 times, you get 600 neopoints! It’s the same thing for the Venus quiz, except you get 300 points and 300 neopoints for 1 play! So, if you do both quizzes 3 times a day, in one day, you will have 1,500 neopoints from just those 2 games alone! You don’t even have to really answer the questions, although I find them fun!
Step 2
Most of the “sponsor games” have a higher neopoint to game point ratio.
The games with higher neopoint to game point ratios that are sponsored are easy and fun! There are many more besides these, so get playing!
Step 3
Take risks. If you have the money, buy a scratch card! Spin all the wheels EXCEPT for the Wheel of Misfortune, as usually, something bad will happen. Play some chance games sometimes! My favourite chance game is Cheat!
Some Tips For Cheat!
- Always look at your cards before you let anyone slide!
- When given the chance to choose any cards to put up, first of all, don’t lie. You don’t have to!
Second of all, think about the cards you have. Let’s say I have the following hand:
A,A 2 3,3,3 5 7,7 8,8,8,8, 9, K
Think about the rules. If someone before you puts down a 6, you have the option to put down 5’s, 6’s, or 7’s. I have 2/3 so I might choose to get rid of the 7’s, because I have the 8’s and 9’s to back me up if I have the options of 6, 7, 8 or 7, 8, 9. I also have A’s, 2’s, and 3’s, so I have more than enough options there. I might choose to get rid of the 2’s. I would not get rid of my king because that is the only royal card I have. If I had to put down a J, Q, or K, I’d have to lie, and lying is never the best option unless you have to! So try to think of your backups when given a choice.
If you think someone is lying, but ARE NOT SURE, look at the amount of cards in the pile. If I thought someone was lying and there was only 1-5 cards in the pile, I might take the risk at accusing them. If I am right, then I get the np! If I am wrong, I only get 1 – 5 cards. If the pile has anything over 5 cards, I might be iffy, but if it is over 10, I’d stay clear of accusing. You could end up in trouble. Also, it helps to look at the number of cards the other player has. If they have a large amount of cards (10 and up) it is more likely that they have the card they put down than someone who only has 2 cards. Remember, when in doubt, look at the pile and at the player!
Step 4
Basic jobs rock, if you have some neopoints. If you have 5,000+ neopoints, you might consider looking at the basic jobs. Look at the item, think about the average price of the item, and then the reward. Decide if you think you are making money or losing it! They are pretty self-explanatory!
So don’t be a beggar! It’s unbecoming and rude! If you follow these 4 simple steps, you’ll be a rich Neopian with time! Don’t expect it to work in a snap! Give it a few weeks! You’ll be pleased! – Anonymous
