Always keep your mouse in the middle square. This way you can move to any box quickly
To make the game go slower before start playing go to any webpage. While the page is loading play the game. This makes things go a lot slower for the first couple of rounds. Remember to move you mouse even though it doesn’t look like it is being moved. it is. Just be patient.
Remember which neopet/petpet have the most letters and the least letters.
Try and remember how many letters each one has got. So you can know if a meowclops is more than a blumaroo or not. Colours are important. The colours never change. It helps if when you need to find say loveberry. Instead of looking at each individual one look for the colour.
Remember your weaknesses. For example if you can never remember that Mynci begins with M next time you see M remember Mynci Accuracy, in the later stages, can be more important than speed. Every 200 points you gain an extra life Try to get 75 or more on the first 4 stages.
Remember which letters only has one neopet/petpet/item for. For example If you are looking for a neopet beginning with N there is only Nimmo begin with that letter so now you know what to find.
