Now how could that be? Everyone knows that to have a good shop you have to have it big, with rare items, and not too cheap. Oh, and of course a nice background and plenty of dolls.
Au contraire.
Backgrounds and small doodads are hard to load, and many of us have small, outdated machines. Something that takes about 2 seconds for you may take almost 5 minutes for them! A background is okay, and maybe one or two dolls, but leave it at that.
Bigger isn’t better. Don’t waste all your money on this. Although it says “The bigger your shop the higher it is on the list” it’s not true. The shop wiz works for prices, not size. So even if your shop is size 2, you can still make as much money as those with a size 500.
Yeah right.
Or so you think. Now, look at the food shop in the Marketplace. It’s sold out in less than 5 minutes. But when you put food in YOUR shop it may sell in like, 5 days. But food, trading cards, books, etc, are what you should be manufacturing, not Hidden Tower items or Code items.
Newbies are the answer. I’m not saying take advantage of them, but they want cheap food, toys, gifts, even those common, blue backed trading cards that you can’t seem to get rid of! Price them down to about 25-50NP each, and then go to the “Newbies” area of the chat room and advertise. They will buy your 1NP Tombola Items, the plastic butter knife…
Don’t say stuff like “This healing potion will give your pet 10 extra levels”, because that’s more likely to get you frozen. Remember when you were a newbie and bought toys, food, and practically whatever you could afford? – evil_kittie101
