Budgeting Wisely by David

When Ogling a certain item or thinking about buying your pet that toy think hard about how it will affect your budget, here are some wise tips to maintaining a healthy budget and keeping your pets happy and full… Neopets DON’T need toys, to eliminate ever needing to have toys and the such simply save up enough to buy each one (or how many you have) a PetPet. They keep your pets happy and the whole NP wasting toy thing is done, A tip though that is sure to keep your pets very happy every now and then Switch PetPet’s and watch the effect. Now if your Neopet Doesn’t like the PetPet you supply it with that is fine (I take the example from a recent incident with an Angelpuss and a Gelert) just sell that Neopet (Or Trade) and with the money acquire a new one.

Food, Food is an all time high on your list of to do’s If you are on a budget Omelets are lifesavers as well as the marketplace, I found several food items at Extremely low prices, and trust me it’s not that hard. Helpful hint: go to the Marketplace Wizard and look for anything with the word Organic in it. Organic foods help abilities AND keep your pets full. Now if you are on a budget and you have a Grarrl then you seriously don’t have to worry about him just keep some items in your stock and he will gamely venture in, eating whatever he finds, since most other Neopets aren’t that “brave ” he or she may be a good choice for a beginner, Just DON’T keep any expensive items lol My sister had a very bad day when her hungry Grarrl ate one of her usuki’s…Not funny for her just a lesson about life in Neopia.

You DO NOT have to buy your pet the most expensive food on the market to make it fill loved, It is still gonna reward you with a loving phrase when you feed her a burnt scarab cookie, just like she did when you fed her that Negg.

When you are lucky enough to find a codestone on the floor or to have a visit from the Easter Negg Cybunny you do not have to make the mad rush to sell them usually when stuff like that happens you should try selling one and keeping the other for when you are in dire need of some $$$. If you are smart a bank account AND shop are in your name and they are going to be lifesavers later on, The other Editorials branch out on that concept I believe. Moving on when your Neopet has a disease please don’t think me heartless or soulless or Satan’s deity of choice but they can hold on for a a time while you try and get the cure, Meanwhile several trips to the W.O.E (wheel of excitement) and the healing springs sincerely cannot hurt you any…

Now that you have some tips after a time you may just become good at this and a word to the wise try to “hide” things that are expensive as an insurance policy In case of your account being hacked, I have several Neggs hidden away for example in my shop and safety deposit box, try to find unsuspecting places to “hide” items and a Hack comeback may be in order… :O) hope you can use this information, have a nice day. – David (Asrienbelacqua)
