The Guide
Like undoubtedly everyone else, I have searched the Internet for fast ways to earn neopoints; finding many “Earn X neopoints in Y of minutes!”. You can find your own and I’m sure you already have. However, this guide is to compliment one of those. What I noticed was that many of these guides neglected to mention Attack of the Marblemen in their list of games to play, which was confusing to me because it was such an easy game to earn the max of 3,000 neopoints per day (in around 10 – 15 minutes) or 720 neopoints in less than 2 minutes.
Attack of the Marblemen is a game in the puzzle section. Like all standard games, the game is capped to 1,000 neopoints per play, 3 plays per day. The game is a great way to earn an easy extra 3,000 neopoints a day (which is 21,000 neopoints a week (7,665,000 neopoints a year!) or a quick 720 neopoints in 2 minutes.
The game offers 400 neopoints per 100 points scored. So our goal is to earn at least 250 points so that translates into 1,000 neopoints. The object of the game is simple, direct the marblemen into their respective box. The marblemen always move in a straight lines and change their direction when bumping into something (which is done by you by clicking the triangles).
It’s hard to describe so take a few practice games (do not send your score) and you should get the hang of it. You have 3 lives, which can be taken away by running into the bombs without shields, failing to get the marblemen into the box within the time limit, or getting marblemen of the wrong color into the wrong box.
The beauty of the game is that the puzzles are the same every time. This is KEY because once you play a few times, you can simply memorize which triangles to click to maximize your score which is calculated by the remaining time left on the timer aka the faster you complete a level, the more points.
Also, coins are worth 10 points. Points are awarded immediately, so if you get a coin, yet fail, you still are awarded your points for getting the coins. You want to memorize in the beginning levels how to get the coins and complete the level. The coins, once again, are worth 10 points, so no matter how much time you save by not getting the coin, it won’t make up for points you lost if you would have gotten them.
At level 21, you should have at least 190 – 200 points. This is what you should shoot for when you practice. This level has two coins in the lower corners. There is a blue marbleman who starts upwards and two reds that will end up going back and forth on their natural path. Ignore the red ones and focus on the blue. Start the level off by sending him downwards (clicking a triangle in this path so that the side he bumps into is horizontal), then click the bottom triangle that will send him right. Now just watch as the blue man should go down, then right, collect the coin there then bump into the wall sending him to fetch the coin in the left corner. Wait until time runs out or direct the red marblemen to run into a bomb so that the level starts over and repeat the process. The more lives you have the better because each life can earn you 20 in game points which translates into 60 points if you have not lost a life, which translates into 240 neopoints!
If you’ve earned the 190-200 points I suggested without losing any lives (which is easy because once again, the levels are the SAME EVERY TIME, so simply memorize how to beat each level until you can do it well enough to earn 190-200 points), add the easy 60 points and you should have easily 250 points for 1,000 neopoints! Do this 3 times a day and that’s 3,000 neopoints added to your score everyday.
After beating certain levels, you are given a code. I do not suggest using these since the levels are always the same, so why skip over levels which you know how to beat? Especially since the amount of points awarded are always the same so beating Level 1 in 3 seconds is just as good as beating extremely hard level 22 in 3 seconds. But if you’re in a jam for time or you simply just hate the game and just want to get some neopoints fast and get out, after level 20, (conveniently right before level 21) you are given a code. You can either write it down so that you can go straight to level 21, die there 3 times earning 20 points every time to get an easy 240 neopoints x 3 times a day (which is easily 720 neopoints in a matter of minutes). Still not bad. Add this to whatever guide your using for X neopoints in Y minutes and you should be on your way. – VPBapesta
