The Pink Poogle Toy Show 29: The Neopets Notice Board, Battledome, Missing Items, Neopets Competitors and Racism Edition

Episode 29 of The PPT Show unites Kym Huynh, Evan and Drake (or his alter ego Demon) as the second group on this week’s host-packed recording session. (We had so many hosts that we had to split the recording up into two teams.) With topics on discussion such as whether people actually notice what is on the Neopets Notice Board, whether or not the battledome is essentially to Neopets or biased towards certain Neopians, unreleased items that are M.I.A. (missing in action), Neopets’ competitors, and whether or not Neopets is racist, tune in for an exciting episode of The PPT Show.

The Art of Neopoint Making by dchick3

Broke every day? Read on. The problem is, while some Neopians are millionaires, some are straight out flat broke. And you wonder: What’s their secret? Well, I happen to know some. Read on.

1.) Go to Tombola, the Healing Springs, Coltzan’s Shrine, Fruit Machine and the great big Omelette in Tyrannia EVERY DAY. Most people know this, but sometimes you forget and that makes you miss out on something really rare. So GO TO THESE PLACES EVERY SINGLE DAY. Never know, that ol’ Tombola guy might do you some good.

2.) Go to the Money Tree. Occasionally. Most people think this is impossible. But I’ve found that clicking on the items at the bottom of the screen on the left gets you more things. Why? Because most people just want to hurry hurry, so they grab the things next to the scrollbar on the top. Just press the Page Down button on your keyboard; it’s a lot faster than scrolling. And you might find some rare things at the bottom. It may take awhile before you get the hang of it though. So dig deep!

The Neopets Mall Tour 2004 Experience by imakemoneyforyou

Having been a Neopets fan for four years, I decided to check out the Neopets Mall Tour in Santa Rosa, California on Sunday. I brought up the subject up to my father, who agreed to drive me. The car trip was long and tedious, but it gave me enough time to put together a makeshift card deck from my stash of Neopets cards. By the time I arrived at Santa Rosa Plaza I had put together a Neopets deck and knew the basic rules of the game. Like most other Neopians who have the TGC, I had never played the card game before.

Neopoint Tips Every Neopian Should Know by Awtum

Most neopians get frustrated at the thought of getting large amounts of neopoints while enjoying themselves, there are a few simple tips to make sure that one can have the most fun as possible on neopets and still having enough extra cash for emergencies, or just to say you have a large amount of cash, if you’d like.

Do

  • Play sponsor games; they are short, easy, pay more than decently, and some of them are actually really fun.
  • Keep track on your spending when playing chance games. These games are highly addicting, and thought they do sometimes pay out, it’s wise to keep a daily budget for games suitable to your income… for instance, if you earn 5,000 neopoints from action games in one day, put 4,000 in the bank and use the other thousand for wheels, dice and cards – when you run out DO NOT withdraw from the bank, ignore the itch until tomorrow.

Characterizing Your Pet by fruitboy9o3

Many Neopians claim that they do everything for their pets– playing games, selling items in their shops, raising their levels. In reality, most play for their own entertainment and later, as they become more immersed in the community, reputation. I don’t blame them. Though Neopets is intended to be all about raising your pet, it’s simply impossible to really care about a pet when to most Neopians, it’s just a picture on a screen that occasionally wants to be fed mointangible images or play with a new graphic. This is a slight fault of the game-makers, but with an imagination, you can take care of it easily.
