The Lupe is a wolf or dog-like Neopet. Brave and loyal, though sometimes a little over confident, Lupes enjoy adventuring to new territories with their friends.
Lupes are common characters in Neopian Games and Plots, and have had the most impact on the Neopian world.

- Revealed to the world on January 13, 2000 as a selection from the Create a Pet Competition along side the Elephante.
- Lupe Day is on May 2nd.
- The name "Lupe" comes from the latin word lupis, meaning wolf.
- The Lupe is one of the more popular Neopets and is commonly used for intermediate level battling because of its Iron Lupe Sword and Ancient Lupe Wand.
- Many users like Lupes because of how closely they resemble real wolves, and enjoy Roleplaying their Lupes as a wolf pack.
