Luperus

Luperus haunts the nightmares of Chias across Neopia.

Luperus is a three-headed Red Lupe who guards a dungeon in the Haunted Woods. He is often used as a bogey man to make Neopets behave. Its name is a portmanteau of Lupe and Cerberus, a three headed dog in Greek myth said to guard the Underworld.

Each of Luperus' heads is featured on its own Stamp. Luperus appears to shed teeth, which are made into four different Battledome weapons - Luperus Tooth, Super Luperus Tooth, Luperus Jaw, and Luperus Teeth.

• In the real world, Luperus is also the name of a genus of beetles.
