The term Robot was added to Neopets in Arrival of Virtupets, bringing advanced technology and AI to Neopia. Since then, robot Petpets have been released, along with a Lab Ray exclusive colour for Neopets.

As of February 2009, 49 Neopets and 51 Petpets can be turned into Robots...
