The term Robot was added to Neopets in Arrival of Virtupets, bringing to Neopia the inclusion of advanced technology and AI. Since then, robot Petpets have been released, along with Lab Ray exclusive colour for a Neopet.

As of May 2008, 43 Neopets and 50 Petpets can be turned into Robots...
