Besides Halloween (also known as All Hallows' Eve) being a spooky day to wander Neopia, it's also a colour your Neopet can be painted. Each species of Neopets has their own uniqe appearance. Most pets are based upon traditional figures such as vampires, witches or demons. There are a few that resemble specific Neopian citizens. The more notable ones are Lupes (look like Werelupes) and Blumaroos (looks exactly like Count Von Roo).

The Tale of Woe

Main Article: The Tale of Woe

The plot was designed to coincide with Halloween. This was the only time the cursed Neovian citizens could appear. Halloween Paint Brushes were among the prizes that users could uncover during the grave digging portion of the plot.

Bonuses

• On October 31st, the Halloween sidebar theme is available to all players all day.
• The sidebar can only be unlocked by refreshing anywhere on site at 11:59pm - 11:59:59pm.

Controversey

Many players have expressed a concern that they are sleeping during the time that the Halloween sidebar is unlocked, such as UK players who would have to be up early in the morning. However, TNT are yet to respond with any news or ways around getting the sidebar theme.
