Neopia is the planet in which Neopet, Faerie, petpet and the other inhabitants live upon. All things that happen on Neopets occurs on Neopia.

Worlds

There are currently 16 official worlds in Neopia. Altador, Brightvale, Krawk Island, Faerieland, Mystery Island, Meridell, Lost Desert, Tyrannia, Haunted Woods, Terror Mountain, Virtupets, Shenkuu, Kreludor, Maraqua, and Neopia Central and Darigan Citadel. In addition to these worlds there are 4 mini-worlds. Roo Island, Kiko Lake, Neovia and the Lost City of Geraptiku. Also available to people with Neopets Mobile is Lutari Island.

Climate

The climate just as on Earth, varies from region to region and season to season. Exceptions to this rule is that The Lost Desert is always hot, Terror Mountain is always cold and there is no weather in the Virtupets space station.

World Development

Throughout Neopia and the different worlds there is variation in technological advancement and social customs. For example Virtupets is a high-tech space station while the residents of Meridell are still in Medieval times. How all worlds co-exist without some advancement has yet to be seen.
