Princess Amira is the oldest daughter of King Coltzan III and current ruler of Sakhmet. After King Coltzan's death, Amira was away on political missions and so her younger sister Princess Vyssa ruled the kingdom. Given Vyssa's young age, Amira took over the throne on her return.
Princess Amira is described as beautiful, elegant, cultured, and refined by those who know her personally, and enjoys exploring music and the arts. Amira finds her rule of Sakhmet to be boring and bothersome, due to the many suitors asking for her hand in marriage, and longs to be away from such a life and have excitement.

She twice refused his proposal, and he used his magic to take the city of Sahkmet out of the Lost Desert and into a dark dimension, where gangs of the undead roamed the streets. His proposition became an ultimatum: marry him, or the city would fall to the monsters.
She very nearly was forced to marry him, until Nabile arrived at the wedding and revealed to Jazan that marrying Amira would not lift the curse on Qasala.
