Assignment 53 is a side-scrolling platform game released on 20 July 2012. Players control one of two Alien Aishas, Eddix and Moxi, on their mission to rescue five Alien Aisha important for Supreme Commander Arlhox VII's invasion force.

Premium users were able to beta test this title from 14 July.

How to play

Controlling either Eddix or Moxi - the difference is only a cosmetic one - the player must visit five worlds to rescue the crashed Alien Aishas. Each world consists of two acts, the player must navigate from the left hand side to the right hand side of the level. The player can move their character left and right, make them jump, and make them crouch with either the arrow keys or the WASD keys.

On each planet, Eddix and Moxi must contend with the local wildlife. The player will get damaged if they touch them, and some of the enemies fire damaging projectiles, too. Eddix and Moxi can only withstand three hits before they lose a life. They may destroy an enemy, and get points for doing so, by jumping on top of it. They must also reach the end of each act before their air supply, represented by the gauge on the bottom left hand side of the screen, runs out.

Players can collect Gross Food items to restore their health, and Nerkmids for extra points. Collecting 100 Nerkmids earns the player an extra life. Nerkmids only count if the player reaches the end of the act with them - if they die halfway through, they will have to start the level again with only the Nerkmids they had earned by that point.

Wuba Prime

Wuba Prime is a jungle-covered planet. Players must avoid or defeat the following enemies:

Chameleon-like alien. Walks left and right. Red flower-like alien. Shoots a projectile that follows an arc every six seconds.
Orange, three-eyed alien. Walks left and right. Orange tulip-like alien. Fires three projectiles at a time.

There is a secret tunnel in the first act that leads to a ledge with a piece of Gross Food on it. It can be reached by jumping into the wall on the right from the second moving platform, when the platform is as high as it will go.
