Islandberry Crunch Cereal is a Neopets-themed cereal. Neopets encourages you to "Enjoy the taste of sweetened, crunchy islandberries made with natural and artificial berry flavors. It's made with whole grain corn, and is a good source of fiber and calcium. And it's 120 calories per serving!"
It must be assumed that, as islandberries do not exist outside of Neopia, the taste-creating team used a blend of more traditional berries to achieve the desired flavor.
Islandberry Crunch Cereal was announced on the New Features on the 19th January 2006 along with its mascot, Jake the Kougra, and a Cereal Adventure Kitchen in which for a few months during that time, you could feed your Neopets with complimentary bowl of cereal on a daily basis for free.
