The Neopies host prepares to reveal who has won one of the coveted awards.

The Neopies is an annual awards ceremony held in January to celebrate the best of the last year. The ceremony was first hosted in 2009. Every day while the ceremony is in progress, four nominees are selected for a Neopies award category (e.g. Best Villain or Best News Days). Users can then vote on which of four nominees they would like to win the award, and are given prizes of their own for taking the time to vote.

Since 2009, the ceremony has been hosted by a Blue Elephante. The name Neopies is a play on real-life award shows such as the Grammies or the Emmies.
