Videos

Videos were a type of item sold at Video Rentals from May 3, 2000 to December 7, 2001. It's believed they were to act like books or toys, but they were never activated, and were changed into retired books before they could be. The change occurred because The Neopets Team believed watching videos on a television matched the technology level of Neopia. Despite this decision, the Virtupets Space Station was created on August 22, 2000, and Adver-Video was released September 21, 2006, where a real television is used to watch videos.
