The Bori is the 49th Neopet, and was released on October 13, 2004 to coincide with Hannah and the Ice Caves. Bori are an underground armadillo-like race with fox-like heads and furry bodies who have been kept in an enchanted sleep by some strange forces since Neopia's creation. Only now are they being awoken. Although their claws are sharp enough to penetrate stone, they have timid personalities and dislike coming to the surface.
Bori are one of many different species that exist in Neopia. As a general rule Bori are quiet peaceful creatures who are rather timid. They originated from the frozen region of Terror Mountain, but can now be found all over the world.
The Bori, coined the armadillo Neopet, are habitually shy. Often seen around their burrows, these creatures homes are extensively large and complex due on a large part, to their excellent digging skills. Should you need extensive piping work or underground work done, you know who to contact...that is...if you can find one. They are quiet and peaceful Neopets.
Bori is not a limited edition pet, but their promotional colour is their exclusive ice colour, which could only be accessed by users who took part in a Yahoo! Toolbar promotion.
Colours
