Coltzan's Shrine is a large obelisk in the Lost Desert released to Neopia on September 3, 2001. It was created to pay homage to the Ghost of King Coltzan III, an old king of Sakhmet who was poisoned on July 9, 2001.
What It Does
Users with accounts older than 48 hours are able to go to the shrine and pray to King Coltzan in order to get a blessing once per day. There are a number of different outcomes of this prayer...
- Neopets can have their statistics increased, to become stronger or faster or more intellegent.
- Be given an item. These range from Desert Food to Battledome weapons to Dubloons. Many of theses items have become cheap and affordable, but there are items such as Kings Lens and Coltzans Sceptre which are powerful in the Battledome, and much more rare.
- A Neopoint reward, between a few hundred neopoints to 1 million (approximately 6 million to 1 chance of happening).
