Zombie

The term Zombie refers to a creature in Neopia (usually a Neopet or Petpet) which which bares resemblance to or is a Zombie. Zombies were first introduced onto Neopets on (need date), and was introduced as an actual colour on October 25, 2007.
Overview
Zombified creatures in Neopia walk around moaning about Brains, believed on the intent of eating them. If it's the actual intent of zombified creatures to eat others brains, it is not known, due to no images or text showing it, though it could simply be The Neopets Team's way to keep Neopets non-violent.
Zombies are one of the many pop culture references The Neopets Team places into the game. There enjoyment of the "Zombie fandom" can even be seen in Neopian Times editorial #158, where they claimed to dress as Zombies and meet the director of Shaun of the Dead.

As of October 2008, 10 Neopets can be coloured Zombie...
Trivia
- While the Zombie Paintbrush was released on October 25, 2007, it was claimed by The Neopets Team in Neopian Times editorial #85 no such Paintbrush would exist, due to the similarities shared with Ghost Neopets.
- As of January 2008, Zombies are featured in 17 different items.
