Common Acronyms

Acronyms are very common on Neopets. An acronym is a series of letters that represents several words. You were probably redirected here by searching for an acronym, and you will find it listed below, with its meaning. The acronyms are in alphabetical use for ease of use.

• AI: Artificial Intelligence. 1-Player Challengers run on set AI patterns.
• BD: Battledome. Where Neopets got to fight against other Neopets or Villains of Neopia.
• DBD: Dark Battle Duck. A weapon that used to do 10 icons damage in the Battledome, and isn't as valued anymore.
• ENT: Evil Neopets Team. An acryonym used often to refer to The Neopets Team when they're particularly unpleasant.
• HATIC: Hannah and the Ice Caves
• HATPC: Hannah and the Pirate Caves
• HH: H4000 Helmet. A very valued weapon in the Battledome.
• HP: Hit points, the amount of total health you have. Important in the Battledome.
• HT: Hidden Tower
• HTML: HyperText Markup Language. Used to program web pages, and the basic coding which powers Neopets.
• IQ: Intelligence Quotient. Adam Powell has an IQ of 174.
• LDP: Lost Desert Plot
• MSP: Malevolent Sentient Plushie. A Paintbrush colour that only exists for Poogles.
• MSPP: Malevolent Sentient Poogle Plushie
• NP: Neopoints
• NST: Neopia Standard Time. The clock Neopia follows, and the time The Neopets Team follows in their work day.
• PPT: Pink Poogle Toy. One of the oldest Neopets help sites to exist on the internet. Home of all that is weird and wonderful.
• PPTer: The term given to a person who has become a member of PPT and considers themselves a part of the PPT community.
• PS2: Playstation 2. The Neopets: The Darkest Faerie video was released on the PS2.
• PSP: Playstation Portable.
• PTS: Points, in reference to the score you recieve in the Games you can play.
• RPG: Role Playing Game. Neoquest and Neopets: The Darkest Faerie are both considered RPGs.
• SOS: Sword Of Skardsen
• TNT: The Neopets Team. Inspired the TNT Avatar, which is used only by them. Also refers to the Neopian Times
