The '''Ruki''' is an [[wikipedia:insect|insect]]-like [[Neopet]] resembling a [[Wikipedia:Praying mantis|praying mantis]] released on July 29, 2004. Like all insects, Rukis have antennae and 3-part bodies divided into the head, thorax, and abdomen. Unlike insects which have [[wikipedia:Eye#Compound_eyes|compound eyes]], Rukis possess vertebrate eyes complete with sclera, iris, and pupil. They have six limbs: four attached to the abdomen, and two to the thorax which have been adapted for use as arms, ending in three finger-like pincers. | |||
