The Money Tree is a sentient tree located in Neopia Central. People can get free items or money from the Money Tree. These items are donated by either other users, Money Tree Ghosts, the Wishing Well, or giveaway characters.
The Money Tree can only hold twenty items at a time. When more items are donated, they wait in a queue until someone takes some of the existing items and more room is made.
Donors[edit]
- A user can donate an item by choosing "Donate" in the item's option list. Money can be donated at the Money Tree by filling out the form at the bottom of the page. Items can also be donated through Quick Stock.
- A random event involves a Money Tree Ghost stealing a random (low) number of Neopoints from a user and putting them under the Money Tree. When there are no donations, it is claimed the Money Tree Ghosts stole them.
- Certain inhabitants of Neopia will a set times donate a big amount of items of a set theme. Balthazar donates Bottled Faeries at 7 AM daily. Quinton donates healthy food at 7 AM every day. The Lupe Snack Pack donate chocolate at 5:50 PM on Sundays. Tropical food is donated every Monday at 10:45 AM & PM. A Generous NC Mall Shopper will donated two Neocash wearables to the Tree several times an hour.
