The Chasm Beast is a monster that prowls the ruins of Old Maraqua. Although he lives 10,000 feet down in Neopia's oceans, he has been known to attack ships on the surface.
He is dark green, with six tentacles and an enormous, gaping mouth.

The Chasm Beast was attracted by the call Isca made to summon her childhood friend Goregas. His arrival gave Garin, Jacques, and Isca the diversion they needed to escape from The Drenched, who retreated back into their liar to hide from him.
